Recorded during the frigid Canadian winter, indie-rock artist Nameless Ghost's self-produced debut album "Under the Surface" was born from recent struggles with personal loss and mental health. The first single, Slow Down, reflects on the fragility of life with its mournful melodies and slow, steady drums. Infused with lo-fi elements and a DIY mindset, "Slow Down" sets the tone for the rest of the album and is the first step on a journey through loss, grief, and mental illness.
